A tranquil day in mid September 1999. Looking out of the window of Basil Henriques' studio at his home near the village of Streamstown in County Westmeath, a place reputed to be the centre of Ireland.

On the horizon cows are peacefully grazing, a rainbow has formed in the Autumn sky. Irish folklore says that the Leprechauns have a crock of gold at the end of the rainbow. I feel I've found a musical gem right here in this studio.

Basil; Henriques is from Solihull in Warwickshire, he is highly regarded by his fellow musicians as one of the world's leading steel guitarists; in fact all forms of guitar playing at the highest level are featured on this unique album. Basil is also a top record producer and musical arranger and has worked on albums with many of country music's top international stars.

I have admired Basil's great talent for many years and consider it an honour to portray this great celebration of his work on the "Foam" record label.
